Simon D releases 'Won and Only' comeback album

The wait is over and it was well worth it! The only thing I'm sad about is that it's not a full length album, but hey, lets not be ungrateful.

Can we talk about how much Simon sang for this comeback? I love it so much, I could cry!

There are no bad songs on this album and that's no exaggeration. Every single song gives off a different feeling, whether it's new or old.

Track 3, Money Don't Lie is a song that Simon had already released but I'm still obsessed with it. His flow and delivery on that track is everything.

I had a hard time picking a favourite song because both Won and Only and Lonely Night really stuck out to me - I'm a sucker for a melodic rap song. Anyway, I decided that I like Won and Only like 1% more because some of the lyrics are just too cute!

"Work vs Love? You keep asking, I told you I do this **** for women. For my mom, you and a future daughter"

He keeps hinting that he wants a child and I think it's the cutest thing! The song Won and Only is kind of a open letter response if you like, from a man who's girlfriend keeps complaining about how much he works. It's basic message is that he's doing all that work for her and that even though there's a lot of things that she doesn't like, she should stick by him. I don't know if he wrote it to a specific girl (I hope not LOL) but if I was her, I would stay with him!

Moving on, I'm glad that Elo featured on a track for this album. I've missed his voice and he was the perfect fit for Lonely night. I personally hope he's next on the list for a comeback!

Lastly, in true biased fashion, I have to shout out Gray for his impeccible production on this album. He came through as usual!
