Ramriddlz: Toronto's new upcoming star?

So I first got wind of this guy when I heard a snippet of drake singing over the instrumental to his track 'Sweeterman'. Now anyone should know that a cosign from the self proclaimed '6 God' himself, is gonna get you some serious attention. That's how I came upon Ramriddlz soundcloud and god bless Drake for leading me there. What I like about the 21 year old Toronto native is that his sound is just that, straight Toronto. From the titles of the songs, to the lines he uses in the lyrics - every thing is laced with that Toronto slang! Because a lot of that slang derives from Jamaica, I feel like his sound has a suttle, yet dinstinctive dancehall feel to it which for me, is always a plus. If I had to describe his sound, it would be ILoveMakonnen meets Popcaan. So I'm gonna go ahead and recommend 3 Ramriddlz songs that caught my attention and I think you should listen to.

1. Call Me ft. Nemesis

This is that light dancehall kind of track that I could see getting a lot of play out in the raves. It just has that addictive sound that makes you wanna move your body. I think it'd be so cool to see actually dancehall artist do a remix to this!

2. She Say

I'm a sucker for the slower songs over the hype ones so this was one of my immediate faves. He gives you a little skit at the end of the track where he showcases that toronto slang that I love so much LOL!

3. Sweeterman

This is the track that put him on the map so it's only necessary you listen to it! He put out a visual for this track that I found .... entertaining, to say the least. Just watch it! You can tell he's definitely a character.

Word is that he's working on a new EP called Sweeter Dreams, so in the meantime you guys can listen to his current EP P2P right here.
