Meet Ambre Perkins...

The 18 year old singer/songwriter who's blowing people away with her EP 'Wanderlust'...

I first came across Ambre on soundcloud in the suggestions bar and fell in love with her voice. Naturally I had to do research, find out where she was from, how old she was, who she was affiliated with and I was surprised to find out she was that young!

She's been through a lot in her life having been taken into foster care at the age of 4. But its her struggles that made her turn to music and moulded her into the artist that she is today. In an interview with Revolt she states "The way I look at my life and my music now is, any set back is a set up for greatness", an outlook that I think is great to have at such a young age.

All the songs on the mixtape are written by her and she said shes written for others aswell. With that amount of talent at this stage in her life, I'm only expecting great things from Ambre in the future!

One of my favourite songs from her is a song called 'Preach' that was a collaboration with another one of my favourite artists at the moment, Kehlani.
