The Internet release sophomore album "Ego Death".

They're back! I've been waiting for a new sound from them for what seemed like so long and truuuuuuust me, the wait was well worth it!

For those of you who don't know who The Internet are, they're a band formed by Syd tha Kyd (The one in the white tee on the album cover) and Matt Martians (Dude in the blue to the right of her). Both used to be a part of Odd future- you may know Syd for being Taco's big sister and a producer for the group and Matt was one of the original members.

I first came across the band in early 2014, when a friend of mine linked me a song from their second album 'Feel Good'. The song was called Dontcha and to this day I thank God for my buddy and his impeccable music taste because I haven't looked back since. The whole album had a soul/funk type feel to it but with a new skool kinda twist and thats what had me falling in love.

The tracklist for this new album looked extreeeemely promising with the band enlisting a number of my favourite artists for featuring; Tyler the creator and Kaytranada to name a few. I'm still in the process of listening to it thoroughly and picking my faves, so when I'm done be ready for that album review!
