Crush kills it again with 'Oasis'.

I love this guy, I swear.

This man!!!!! Everything he puts out I instantly love and that's not even me being extra. Not too long ago he came back with his bestie Zion T to give us the blessing that was 'Just' and this time he's back with a more upbeat, feel good R&B joint.

I was a little sour he didn't enlist his fellow VV;D crew member Loco to do the rap, but I can't even be mad at Zico; he did his thing. Screeching and all.

While I'm here, I might aswell address the controversy that came along with the song release. So, some people were accusing Crush of plaigarising Eric Bellinger's song 'Awkward'. If you don't know who Eric Bellinger is, he's the grandson of this guy who wrote hit songs for the Jackson 5. Eric is pretty talented himself (listen to his album The Rebirth by the way!) and he's wrote songs for Chris Brown and others. ANYWAY, the point is, in this day and age you are gonna get songs that sound awfully similar. The way that urban music is set up nowadays, most things sound the same, whether it be musically or lyrically. I don't think it's anything to get ones panties in a twist about and Crush's song isn't exactly a copy, it's just similar. I don't know why people went as far as making a video to compare the two songs. One song is about getting rid of an ex who's still hanging around and the other one is about being attracted to a girl so .. you know.
